Terms & Conditions & Policies

  • Welcome to The Strand Luxury Hair Salons. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website (thestrandluxuryhairsalons.co.uk) (“the Website”) and the provision of our salon services. By accessing or using the Website, booking services, or purchasing products from us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

    • “Client” / “You” /“Your” means any individual who uses the Website, books services, or purchases products from us.

    • “We” / “Us” / “Our” means The Strand Luxury Hair Salons.

    • “Services” means hairdressing, styling, treatments, consultations, and any other salon services offered by us.

    • “Products” means any goods made available for sale via the Website or at the Salon(s).

    • “Booking” means an appointment for Services made via the Website, by phone, in person, or by any other permitted method.

2. Use of the Website

    • You must be at least 16 years old (or older if required by law) to use the Website or book certain Services.

    • You agree to use the Website for lawful purposes only and not to upload or transmit anything illegal, threatening, defamatory, infringing, etc.

    • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue (temporarily or permanently) the Website or any part of it without notice.

3. Booking Policy

    • Bookings can be made via the Website, in person, by calling the salon or by WhatsApp. You can also message directly through either our salon Facebook or Instagram pages.

    • You agree to provide accurate information when making a Booking, including contact details.

4. Products & Pricing

    • All prices for Services and Products are listed on the Website, social media pages, or in the salon depending on which salon you are looking to attend. Prices may change, but changes will not affect bookings already confirmed.

    • We may offer promotions or discounts; these are subject to availability and may have conditions (e.g., time, specific service, non-combinable with other offers).

5. Payment

    • Payment for Services and Products is due at the time of service or purchase (unless otherwise agreed in writing).

    • We accept cash or card payments including Apple Pay as well as gift vouchers purchased from our salons.

    • If you pay online (for example, pre-pay a deposit), you authorise us to charge the agreed amount.

6. Deposits, Cancellations, Rescheduling Notice & No-Shows

    • For certain bookings we may require a non-refundable deposit to secure the appointment. The amount will be communicated to you at the time of booking.

    • You must arrive on time for your appointment. If you are late, we may not be able to provide the full Service or may be cancelled depending on availability and you may still be charged in full. A new appointment will not be made until this payment has been received.
    • If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 48 hours’ notice for beauty and nail appointments or 24 hours notice for hair appointments (or as per your individual salon’s cancellation policy). Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee which will be the full balance of the missed appointment. A new appointment will not be made until this payment has been received.
    • If you use a gift voucher or competition prize towards a missed or late-cancelled appointment, vouchers and prizes will be redeemed and become invalid.

    • If we need to cancel or reschedule a booking (for example due to staff illness or unforeseen circumstances), we will give you as much notice as possible and aim to offer an alternative appointment or refund.

7. Appointment Reminders

    • You will receive a reminder text message 48 hours before your appointment. This message will confirm the date and time of your appointment.
    • It is your responsibility to check this message and let us know in advance if changes are required. We’ll do our best to accommodate any adjustments where possible.

8. Health & Safety / Allergies

    • Before any Service, you must inform us of any allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, or scalp conditions that might affect the treatment.

    • We may refuse to carry out a Service if in our opinion it would risk your health or safety, or if you fail to disclose relevant information.

    • Please be aware that all new colour clients or clients who have not had a colour service carried out by us within the last 6 months whether that be for hair, brow or lash tints will require a patch test no later than 48 hours prior to your appointment.
    • Please note that patch tests for hair differ from those for brows and lashes; a single test does not cover all services. Patch tests are quick, simple, and often carried out during your first consultation. As well as being a legal requirement, this is an important part of our duty of care. Your safety always comes first, so unfortunately we cannot go ahead with your colour service without a completed patch test.

9. Gift Vouchers

    • Gift vouchers are available at either of our salons.
    • Vouchers are valid for 6 months or as otherwise stated on the voucher.
    • Vouchers can be purchased over the phone or in person. Pebmarsh also offer the option of being sent a payment link via email.
    • Please note that gift vouchers can only be redeemed at the salon where they were purchased.
    • Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, and no change can be given.
    • Vouchers cannot be extended beyond their expiry date unless you have authorisation from a salon owner.
    • Gift vouchers may be used to purchase retail products.

10. Limitation of Liability

    • We take all reasonable care to provide Services with reasonable skill and care, but we cannot guarantee results (e.g. colour matching, hair growth etc.).

    • To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, special, or consequential loss (including loss of profits, business, data etc.) arising out of or in connection with our Services or Products.

    • If something goes wrong, and you have suffered any loss or damage, you must notify us as soon as possible (and in any case within 7 days of the Service).

11. Intellectual Property

    • All content on the Website (text, images, graphics, logos, brand names etc.) is owned or licensed by us. You may not reproduce, distribute or use it without our written permission.

13. Complaints & Feedback

    • Complaints should be submitted in writing (email or letter) within 7 days of the relevant incident.

14. Changes to Terms

    • We may revise these Terms from time to time.

    • Continued use of the Website or booking of Services after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

    • Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
